On this page you will find a selection of art pieces that I have created from larger works to my smaller mini-landscapes.
This is just a proportion of my work to show my style and the development of my work.
I will also include works in progress to show a little bit 'behind the scenes' of a painting progressing.
You can view specific project work on the project page.
If you would like to own your own original piece or a print of one of these paintings head over to the shop page.
If you would like to chat about a commission of a landscape that means something to you please do get in touch via the contact page or by selecting 'commission' in the online shop.
My larger pieces are where I really like to play around with the paint and create pieces that tell the character and story of a landscape as well as what it felt like to be there. It is through these larger works that I feel able to create pieces that draw in the viewer, encourage them to go exploring in the landscape, even from the comfort of their own home, and in return the painting envelopes around you and takes you into them.
They may be mini, but they still capture the imagination of the viewer! My mini-landscapes allow me to look at multiple landscape views from the same spot or along a walk. I generally paint them as a small collection but each can stand in their own right, telling a particular story about that landscape. The same principles of light and colour that characterise the larger pieces are still integral to the smaller pieces too.
